General Terms and Conditions for In-Person Check-In

You may leave items for storage in person at my business premises if you send a request by email, phone call or WhatsApp message, receive a confirmation and turn up at the agreed time. The following terms and conditions are part of the storage contract:

  1. Anyone under the age of 18 cannot enter into a storage contract.
  2. The current price list applies.
  3. In-person check-in
    1. For in-person check-in, you must send a request by email, phone call or WhatsApp message, receive a confirmation and turn up at the agreed acceptance time.
    2. You are not entitled to in-person check-in of items, even if your request has been confirmed and you turn up at the agreed acceptance time.
    3. You are only entitled to retrieve the items at the agreed collection time.
  4. You may NOT deposit
    1. Items whose possession is punishable or illegal in Germany or requires a permit, authorisation, licence or similar
    2. flammable or explosive, radiating, corrosive, environmentally harmful, leaking or strong-smelling items, in particular lithium-ion batteries and devices powered by them, such as mobile phones
    3. unpackaged or perishable food
    4. animals and living creatures
    5. money, valuable documents, jewellery, valuables
  5. Loss of the wristband
    1. You are not entitled to the return of items without a wristband.
    2. If you lost your wristband, your items may only be returned on suitable proof that you have deposited them. You must present your ID and leave your personal details when you retrieve the items.
  6. Behaviour that violates the contract or GTC
    1. If you do not appear at the agreed collection time, the deposited items will be stored for 14 days, during which you can collect the items on presentation of the wristband upon confirmed registration. At the end of the storage period, I may utilise or dispose of the items.
    2. I may remove, utilise or dispose of items that must not be deposited at any time and you are not entitled to compensation for these items.
  7. Obligations and claims
    1. I am obliged to store the deposited items with the usual care. There are no further obligations on my part.
    2. Deposited items are insured by your household contents insurance if you have taken out one. A claim for compensation for damage to your property is limited to intent or gross negligence, except in the case of damage resulting from injury to life, limb or health.
    3. I may demand compensation from you if you misuse my business equipment or treat it improperly or if damage or deterioration occurs due to your actions or your deposited items in violation of the General Terms and Conditions.
